Why I Don't Charge More for Twin Newborn Sessions

One of the questions I occasionally receive from parents expecting twins is whether I charge extra for a twin newborn session. The answer is simple: I don't.

While many photographers have separate pricing for twins, I've chosen to keep my newborn session fee the same whether you're welcoming one baby or two. Here's why↓

Capturing Your Story Matters

Every family deserves beautiful photographs of this incredible chapter, regardless of how many babies arrive at once. Twins share a bond unlike any other, and documenting those first days together is something I feel honoured to do. Some of my favourite newborn images are of twins curled up together. These moments are priceless and deserve to be preserved.

The Session Is About Quality, Not Quantity

Yes, photographing twins requires a little more patience, flexibility, and planning. However, my goal isn't to count babies and adjust pricing accordingly. My focus is on creating a relaxed experience and delivering a beautiful gallery that tells your family's story. I build enough time into my newborn sessions to work at your babies' pace, ensuring both little ones are comfortable and safe throughout the process.

Supporting Families Is Important to Me

As a newborn photographer, I understand that these early days pass quickly. I never want parents to feel like they have to choose between professional photographs and managing the many costs of welcoming twins. Keeping my pricing the same is one small way I can support growing families while helping preserve memories that will become even more meaningful with time.

Celebrating Double the Love

Twins bring double the cuddles, double the personalities, and double the love. While they may require a little extra work behind the scenes, they also bring double the joy to my studio.

For me, that joy is reason enough not to charge extra.
